The SP SnapSkru Regular anchor is fast & easy to install – there'sNO drill needed!
Its unique, patented lockingaction lets you use it in ceilings as well as in walls and assures you of the highest possible holding values (see above). It even resists shock and vibration, because it is locked on the wall … this is very important when you're tugging on a curtain rod or a towel bar.
The SP SnapSkru Regular anchor can be used with a wider range of screw sizes than other self-drilling drywall anchors: #6, #8 (recommended) or #10 in the same anchor!
Ideal for mounting bathroom accessories, window treatments, lighting fixtures, smoke detectors, CO detectors, picture frames, mirrors, alarms, shelving, thermostats, electric boxes, etc.
SnapSkru®
Hollow Wall – Light-Medium Loads

The TOGGLER® SnapSkru® anchor is the industry's first self-drilling drywall anchor that does NOT destroy the drywall when using the anchor. You can remove the screw and the item, leaving the anchor in the wall for re-use ... or easily remove the anchor when you choose.
The anchor's built-in "positive stop" resists overdrilling. Its unique tip does not wander on the wall ... the anchor drills itself into the drywall accurately and easily, with no need for pre-drilling.
When activated with a screw, the SnapSkru anchor opens with an audible "pop", locking the anchor on the wall. The drywall gypsum and its paper are kept in compression and thereby immediately reinforced.
This enables the SnapSkru anchor to:
  • be used in both walls & ceilings
  • resist vibration and shock
  • out-hold all other self-drilling drywall anchors by more than 80% in 5/8" drywall, and by more than60% in 1/2" drywall.

With a #8 x 1-1/2" screw the SP™ SnapSkru Regular anchor will hold up to:
  • 57 lbs in 3/8" drywall
  • 79 lbs in 1/2" drywall
  • 135 lbs in 5/8" drywall

With a #6 x 1-1/4" screw the SPM™ SnapSkru MINI anchor will hold up to:
  • 57 lbs in 3/8" drywall
  • 65 lbs in 1/2" drywall
  • 95 lbs in 5/8" drywall

Holding values are ultimate tensile pull with the specified screw. Industry safety standards recommend 1/4 of ultimate test load. The age, condition, and capacity of the substrate must be considered.
Holding strength for a SnapSkru self-drilling drywall anchor varies directly with the strength and condition of the wall material–and inversely with the distance of the load from the wall. See Technical Bulletin
