Catalog Stanley Supply, Inc.
Elco Bi-Flex self drilling screws with a 300 series stainless steel head have threads fused to hardened steel lead threads and self-drilling point. The Stalgard GB coating provides a galvanic barrier. #2 self-drilling point can drill thicknesses up to .110". #3 self-drilling point can drill thicknesses up to .312". #5 self-drilling point can drill thicknesses up to .500". #10 & #12 screws use a 5/16" hex drive, #14 screws use a 3/8 hex drive. Bi-Flex fasteners provide unmatched corrosion resistance and high performance in a wide range of demanding applications, including aluminum, and are virtually immune to delayed embrittlement failures.

N/A The load-bearing length is the length of 300 series stainless under the hex head or including the flat head. Hardened steel length (lead threads and point) should be through the connection and not in the load bearing section of the connection.• High strength, ductility and reliability• Virtually immune to delayed embrittlement failures• Greater galvanic compatibility in dissimilar metal applications involving aluminum• High in-place value over the life of application |
